The CVA were gratefully represented at the WVA Congress in Tokyo, Japan by Dr Jeff Cave, CVA Secretary. Below is Dr Cave’s address at the WVA General Assembly.
“I would just like to express the Commonwealth Veterinary Association’s appreciation to the WVA and our Japanese hosts for enabling the CVA to be represented at this WVA Congress
The Commonwealth Veterinary Association or CVA is made up of the national veterinary associations of the 54 countries of the commonwealth. Its mission is to provide assistance to veterinarians at the grass roots level through south south assistance, with a strength being a common understanding of English. Please catch up with me during the congress if you would like to know more about the CVA’s activities.
But being a World Veterinary Congress it would be wrong to speak only English so Hola, Bonjour, Nǐ hǎo, Guten Tag, Ciao, Namaste to all of you.
本日は誠にありがとうございます。”
