CVA recently supported the opening of the KVAFSU/CVA Animal Welfare Research Centre at Shivamogga Veterinary College, India.
The inauguration on 10 February 2026 brought together academic leaders, international experts, and postgraduate researchers.
Highlights included:
- Presentations by Prof Cathy Dwyer and Dr Rebecca Doyle
- Dr Dianne Phillips’ keynote on animal welfare in natural disasters
- Visit to the WOAH-accredited rabies diagnosis laboratory
- Tour of the Institute of Animal Health (livestock vaccine production)
